KWB acquires offices in Solihull for Couch Perry & Wilkes

Previously dual-sited with offices in Yardley at Amington House, and in Olton at Virginia House, the forthcoming move to 14,100 sq ft of new office space in Solihull at Interface 100 in the Cranmore-Shirley area, will provide greater efficiencies and improved communication all under one roof.

As part of their comprehensive office search and acquisition service, KWB trawled the market for the best property to meet CPW’s exacting requirements, and negotiated the best transaction on flexible terms. As a commercial property specialist comprising all aspects of office-related services, KWB’s building surveying arm also prepared the schedules of condition.

Steve Lakin, Director at Couch Perry & Wilkes, explained: “We had outgrown our existing office space, having increased our staffing four-fold over the last 10 years. We needed larger office space to combine our Birmingham and Solihull offices under one roof and were looking to improve the location and working environment for both our staff and visiting clients.

“Our new offices in Solihull at Interface fit the bill perfectly and in effect move our company to the next stage of its growth. The new premises will give us a four-fold improvement in connectivity speed, which is essential for the new IT facilities that we will be installing to serve all our regional offices. As well as much improved local amenities – both retail and leisure, our new Solihull offices also provide the opportunity to design the workspace more effectively with break-out and collaborative space.

“KWB guided us through the decision-making process and were extremely flexible in accommodating our changing requirements. They sourced exactly the property we wanted and on exactly the right terms. I would highly recommend KWB’s office search and acquisition services.”

Speaking of the office space acquisition, Nigel Tripp, KWB Partner, explained, “Interface ticked all the boxes – modern high quality offices in Solihull – our client’s area of search, good car parking, the flexibility to expand and extremely competitive terms.”
