35 Newhall Street welcomes its first tenants Capsticks.
Acting on behalf of West Midlands Pension Fund, KWB has leased out 2,000 sq ft of accommodation on the ground floor to healthcare solicitors Capsticks, their first office outside the South East at newly refurbished 35 Newhall Street.
Following the reduction of rent to £25 per sq ft at the end of 2008, Capsticks has become 35 Newhall Street’s first tenant.
Suzanne Durey, a partner and property lawyer at Capsticks, said: “We are delighted with our accommodation at Newhall Street which represents a new phase of growth and development for our company. The office gives us the prominent ground floor ‘shop front’ location that we wanted to make our presence known in Birmingham, ideally situated right in the heart of the commercial core.
We have a very successful track record in London and the South East and it has always been part of our strategic vision to open elsewhere in UK. This, combined with client demand and winning a place on the Healthcare Purchasing Consortium (HPC) framework for the West Midlands, made Birmingham a clear favourite to open our first office outside London. We act for healthcare clients all over the UK but opening an office in Birmingham, will help make us a truly national firm.”
Malcolm Jones, surveyor at KWB said “35 Newhall Street gives Capsticks a ground floor position in a stylish, prestigious building set in a prime city centre location making it the ideal solution to their property needs.”
